I just searched about 20 random journals and not a single one of them was in english. Not really sure how to feel about that.

I think there is a VERY large Russian LJ community for some reason.
normally when I look for a new community I found 3 to 5 Russian ones first.

There are a lot of new Russian journals, after the change in... 200-and-something. I've been added by a ton of spam journals, they've all been Russian (but on the plus side, they do crack down on them very quickly - I didn't even get to check most of them out before they were shut down or deleted completely). I think there's a shift in how people approach livejournal though - more people will write in their mother tongue, whatever it might be. A lot of Russian then, but I've seen it with Norwegian too, and that's a very small language, especially compared to English and Russian (but compared to most other languages too:P).

I was going to say something funny and sassy about how you define journals, because technically, my journal isn't English just because I write 99% of my stuff in that language - doesn't journal nationality follow the writer's nationality? :P - but then I lost my sass and funny ;P

How are you and the baby belly doing? :)

I'm tired a lot, but otherwise belly and I are healthy and happy.

I remember when LJ changed over to a more global community, and am totally OK with that, but I just wish there were better filters for looking for new content without spending hours looking at unreadable journals.
